At the terminal I just did what was in the instructions, I configured pppoe
connection without trouble and I gave the plog command and this is what was at
the terminal after that
abc@abc-desktop:~$ sudo pppoeconf
[sudo] password for abc:
Plugin rp-pppoe.so loaded.
abc@abc-desktop:~$ plog
Mar 2 02:32:54 abc-desktop pppd[6009]: Plugin rp-pppoe.so loaded.

Mar 2 02:32:54 abc-desktop pppd[6011]: PPP session is 1172
Mar 2 02:32:54 abc-desktop pppd[6011]: Using interface ppp0
Mar 2 02:32:54 abc-desktop pppd[6011]: Connect: ppp0 <--> eth0
Mar 2 02:32:54 abc-desktop pppd[6011]: Remote message: ^M^JAccess denied

abc@abc-desktop:~$
abc@abc-desktop:~$

A few days ago I went to RDS to ask for a static IP and they said they could not
give a static IP to private persons, only companies, because they would have to
change their equipment.
I asked them about the modem and they said there was no modem, they said
something about fiberlink, directly from the box. There is nothing written on
the "box", so I do not understand anything.
