Serial Port adapters

Date: Dec 17    Category: Unix / Linux / Ubuntu    Views: 529

I'm looking at the newer laptops and it looks like the serial port is
a thing of the past. I only have dial up available here and use a
serial port modem. Is it possible to get this going with one of those
USB - Serial Port adapters?

I would just get a USB modem. However, that can work too.
