Secure Tomcat webserver --accessed with password

I know it might be stupid but i need help in this. I am doing a j2me
application, a tomcat webserver and an image which is in the
webserver

I am using MIDP 1.0.. How can I access this file from the server by
first asking me user and password to access file on J2ME?

What do I need to do for that.
