I'm using Scribus (Stable) to try to make a newsletter for mychurch. However the problem is I cannot type text into it. I create afield for text, then click the thing to type text into it, but theproblem is that I cannot type letters into it. It will take punctuationmarks and numbers, but I cannot type letters. What's up with that?
Did you do a Google search to see if anyone else is having this problem?That's the first thing I'd try.If that doesn't work, post back here with some more details about yourcomputer such as age, speed, ram, etc.

Sounds like you need to go hit the Scribus web site and/or forums, then. It'san application-level problem.
After inserting the text frame where you want it, click on the icon thatlooks like a letter A with a cursor beside it. Putting your mouse pointeron it will display the pop up box of, "Edit contents of frame." Clickinside the text box and you should be able to enter your text with noproblem.
Yeah thanks, it might be a bad install or something.
