I've got fed up of burning my eyes with a screen refresh rate of 60hz
and I've been through a stack of graphics cards just now tring to find
one which will allow me to change the refresh rate.

I can do this with these cards in my Windows machines but I can not in
my Ubuntu machines.

When I pop a different card in the Ubie box the system correctly
identifies them and work fine it appears at first glance but when I go
to try and change the refresh rate it's allways stuck on 60hz

What am I missing?

It's not the monitor I'm quite certain of that it's a Iiyama Vision
Master Pro 451 which is a very capable monitor.

There's also a stack of software which refuses to work such as Beryl
for example and I'm quite sure it's something to do with the graphics
cards settings. So anyone know how to be sure the right drivers are
installed etc etc etc.

Please no CLI stuff it means diddly squat to me sorry.
