real time clock assembly or c language

hi, good day
can anyone please help me w/ my school project.
w/ lcd 16x2, Pic16f877a, ds1307, that would display real time clock. i really need help. please.
im not familiar w/ c but as what i've notice so far in most forum i've search c language is much prefer than assembly.
please help me.
