Protected sheets and Macro Runing Problems

Asked By: Seth    Date: Aug 24    Category: MS Office    Views: 901

I have a shared xl file with protected sheets.

I have made a macro to "Unfilter" all the columns that are filtered

When I run the macro without protecting the sheets all is OK. But when I
protect the sheets and I share the file the "Unfilter" macro gives me an
error.

CAN SOME ONE HELP ME TO SOLVE THIS PROBLEM??

The sheet protection won't let this happen. Your code needs to unprotect
the sheet, complete the operation, then protect it again. You can use
the macro  recorder to generate the code to do this.

As I have try is not possible because the file  is SHARED.

The macro  to "Unfilter" is in the personal file.
I have made  an icon in the formatting bar and I have assigned the "Unfilter"
macro. Like this it works very well with:

> Unprotected sheets  in shared files
> Unprotected sheets in non-shared files

In my opinion the problems  is because the file is a shared.
