Project in EJB

I am planning to do a mini proj using EJB .. I got some basic and vague
idea abt Advanced Java, but not sure abt it, can any1 help me thru.
I think EJB is a component, such as .ocx files in VB or an function module in
C.. ?? What r the requirements I need?? I mean s/ws,Packages ...
And also I need some project titles..
