I'm writing a mail application with j2ee... For receiving themails I needed to install a mail server...I tried Exchange server 2000but then I found out that Exchange cannot be installed on win XP... Ineed some information in this field plzzz....
As a commercial application, you can try MDaemon.
u can download mailtraq server and abilitymailserver. go and serach google for this mail servers.if want any information regarding this reply me i did using imap protocol to get online mails.ok
