Java IDE net beans or FORTE

Im looking for open source IDE for my java project
where my user interface is Java SWING.And i want to
integrate it with TOMCAT.
Which is best IDE JAVA forte or net beans and in what
ways??
Can anyone help me?

I suggest you eclipse. www.eclipse.orgbut it use jdk1.3 or higher...

I recently downloaded NetBeans IDE 3.4.1, and it is definitely better that
Forte 3 I used before, but is it better than the newest Sun One Studio? What
are the differences?

I too felt that and im using net  beans 3.4.1 ,have you
tried tomcat  configuration in that?Hope you know that
it comes with tomcat.I wanted to use web services ,
so tried SOAP with tomcat .But i couldn't do it
.Tomcat configured sucesfully.
Any idea how to configure SOAP with net beans  tomcat?
