I am an equities research analyst with a global i-bank. My job
requies extensive use of excel & financial modeling. I am
comfortable at understanding vb codes, recording & editing & am in
the process of learning more.

I would like to know if there is any global CERTIFICATION
specifically for excel programmers. I guess the MS Office speacilist
is a general office certification- though am not sure. Excuse my
lack of awareness in this regard.

To be frank, I am looking at it as something to strengthen my resume.

I do not want to attend any classes, but will like to prepare myself
& prefer something like an online exam, which is at a very low cost.
(I have already invested a fortune in the CFA)
