Using Excel to send email via Outlook

  Asked By: Lu    Date: Aug 17    Category: MS Office    Views: 1446

I'm totally new to VBA but have a VBScript background so should be OK.
I have a worksheet with email addresses.
I want to be able to send a stock email to those addresses, obviously
grabbing the email address from one cell and the customer's name from
another.
Any pointers to get me started?

I don't have any suggestions but have an almost identical situation I have
been avoiding.

So any comments or solutions, PLEASE make them public.

This will help you get started. You will also need a reference to the Microsoft
Outlook Object Library.

Dim Outlook As New Outlook.Application
Dim sSubject As String
Dim sTo As String

With Outlook.CreateItem(olMailItem)
.To = 'Email Address
.Subject = "Subject Title"
.Send
End With
