I've been using Ventura Publisher (later Corel Ventura) for
several years, to produce some books I wrote. It's been a
great desktop publishing program. The operating system, of
course, has always been Windows.

Now Corel support for Ventura has gone to hell in a handbasket.
They don't support Vista, or even XP SP3.

So - even though I hate to move away from Ventura (it really
is a great way to format and produce long documents), I
need to consider something new.

Is there a good desktop publishing program for books that
runs under Linux? What do you all recommend I should
look at?
