Computer not reading java

Asked By: Ashan    Date: Jan 29    Category: Java    Views: 677

My computer doesn't seem to be reading java...at least that's what it
seems like to me. I'm not very knowledgeable when it comes to things
like this, so I thought maybe somebody could help. I can't seem to
pick up java based chat and things of that nature. Any suggestions
would be greatly appreciated.

What status are you in meanning user or developer? If
user, did you remember to down load JRE? If you are a
developer then you should have JDK downloaded which
already include JRE already.

The next thing to check is the system path which vary
process for different OS.
