Barcode reading with Java

Can somebody give me information on how to read barcode label with in java
application. Any documentation is highly appreciable

barbecue generates barcodes doesn't help in reading  them

You can just use a Java barcode reader(www.onbarcode.com/products/java_barcode_reader). It is easy to read barcode in Java with a tool like this. You can just add this tool in your program and read the barcode.

You can find source code on codeproject or stackflow, or you can try some commercial barcode reader.
