They all should have such a lockout, I think, but the Intel D945GNT
motherboard in this machine apparently does not. The instructions for
flashing the BIOS don't include moving the BIOS configuration jumper.

The MB has such a jumper, but updating the BIOS does not require
moving it except for recovery if the flashing fails.
