Actually, I think I found a better answer.

I exported the data into HTML and imported it into an Excel
spreadsheet. This part worked OK. So I'm thinking the data will work
better as a spreadsheet rather than as a database anyway. I'll see if
Ubuntu OpenOffice can work with it as a spreadsheet.
