A while back there was a article on how someone used a ordinary flatbed
scanner to scan LPs and 45s, and then used a program to store them in
digital format. I seem to remember that the program was written in LINUX
- the link below might help. I do not know whether it has been developed
any further and suspect that it is not for the inexperienced LINUX user,
but is definitely worth a read.
