I have the following showing installed on the machine

xserver-xorg-video-intel
xserver-xorg-ivideo-i740

Also available but not installed is

xserver-xorg-video-intel-dbg

I had plans of upgrading my laptop as well from 9.04 to 9.10, but after this
experience, I think I will wait until I learn a little more about 9.10. Thanks
