Will I need a program to build an ISO image?

10.04 is LTS, Long Term Support,
it will be supported for 3 years till 2013
whereas 10.10 only lasts until April -
as I dont want to learn new windowing every 6 months
I'm sticking with 10.04LTS until convinced to upgrade.
