I have not been able to recover the data. I do not have excel
2007 and the file  is an xslx file. It converts to and opens in Excel 2003
but the data is clearly not what is expected.



I think it needs someone who has a binary file editor and can look inside
the file (and understands the xlsx format) to find out what is wrong.
