Spreadsheet too big for computer's RAM?

Sorry for the delay in replying. The problem isn't Page File/RAM--the
sheets respond to editing attempts same way on a 1 gb computer as on a 500
mb one. So next up is dirty code or other, and I won't have answers until
after the holidays. Am not going to attempt anything on my own. Thank you.
