I doubt it. EXCEPTION_ACCESS_VIOLATION is indicative of an error occuring in
low
level (C++) code. The function listed (MapVirtualKeyExW) is a windows System
function used when accessing Windows registry keys. Thats why I initially
thought
it was due to overly restrictive registry permissions. There is nothing to
indicate
a hardware flaw here. Issues with your system install, windows registry
corruption,
or an erroneous version of eclipse are all plausible.
I would still try my recommendation of installing Eclipse on another machine.
The
other options are almost impossible to solve without re-installing the OS. You
could try applying service packs first though. You might also want to show this
to
your system administrator if you have one and see if he/she can figure it out.
Sorry but I don't think I'll be much more help. Tell me if you figure it out!
