When I open "Users and Groups" and try to "unlock" I get"Could Not Authenticate" "An unexpected error has occured".Yes, I do know the PWs. Both mine and the Admin.How do I correct this?
Ubuntu uses only one password. Have you set up a root account? This is tricky toset up in Ubuntu as they have made it hard to do. That can be a problemdepending on what groups you belong to.
