Root directory too small

Date: Jan 03    Category: Unix / Linux / Ubuntu    Views: 576

Is it possible to make a new partition and copy the root directory to
the new partition and everything work? I have a little more then 800MB
left in the root partition. I have about 60GB of unused space on the
drive.

You can also resize a partition using the gnome partition editor
(under system administration) if it doesn't work you can also resize
it using the live cd.

(allways backup your data first, I learned that the hard way :-))
