Asked By: Glenn    Date: Aug 29    Category: Java    Views: 710

I knew that I am new new in Java, but I want to know ...
if Java is portable ( what ever the platform, because after
compilation, it is in bitecodes...), what for distribution we would
need the CORBA norms??

Waiting for reply, 'cause maybe I haven't understood npthing at
all... :-(

I'm not sure what you mean, but if your question is if java  code is
portable on any system. The answer is yes. This is because there
is a different installation file of java for each OS. Java can be
interpreted by different OS's. There should be another reason, but
I forget what it is. Someone else may be able to clarify and give
you a better answer.
