Fun with Excel VBA (Jwalk code)

I was just hunting down something in my MVP folder and found this way cool
Excel "toy" that Jwalk (John Walkenbach) wrote some years ago. Not sure if
he still has it one his site, some of you may have seen it. But he posted it
to one of the MVP groups and I remember he told me it was okay to share with
groups (I wondered cos' his code is open.)

So I've posted it to the group web site for you to download for your
enjoyment and amazement.

Note...his digital signature has expired on this, so make sure your macro
security is set to medium to approve his code to it works. When you open it,
click Toggle Animation to start running.

Is it cool or what? Yup, Jwalk IS one of the Excel VBA gods.

This is similar to what I did in the 80's on my laser light-show
program except I simply used sine & cosine to make a circle
generator. Making the angle steps for sin and cos selectable and
different and also using very high step sizes (in teh thousants0 you
got similarly intersting patterns adn I suspect some were due to
aliasing and some due to the limitations of the trig functino
resolution on that old 6809 Radio Shack Color Computer display
processor I use. (yep, still have it, but haven't done a show in abt
2 yrs. Getting harder to remember my cue points anymore.

Haven't tuned-in for some time. Poked back in the list a bit and
saw this nifty post. I have my Excel, serial I/O ham radio control
stuff working quite well now. I'm looking to also add speech
synthesizer control for the blind ham community...
