Do you have any comment which of the available hypervisor solutions is best
suited for Java applications? i.e. provides higher performance along with Java
virtual machine?

I did some google search and there are various and somehow contradictory
benchmarks of level 1 virtualization such as Xen and ESXi, hence I would like to
get some info if any of you had _experimental_ results before.

FYI, our machines are mid-level 64b Intels.
