OH that is simple and it trying for you to get use to the O/S

I tried the CD on another computer and it entered Ubuntu without
requesting a user name. I also noticed that as the OS was loading a
black (text) screen flashed some errors. Iy\t was too fast to read,
but I was able to make out a message that referred me to a web site.

This made me suspicious so I rebooted and had the CD verified and
found 2 files with errors. I am going to burn another CD and test
again.

I will follow up this thread when I test with the new CD.

if root:root doesn't work, try jack:jack or root:opensolaris... :->

Never I thought of that one. The use did say he burn the CD. I would like to
point out when burning a ISO cd. Do not use a fast burn speed. Please burn the
CD at least 10x. There is a vast amount of data there and a quick burn can
corrupt the data.

Thanks for the tip. I used Power ISO to burn the CD. The default
burn speed was set to "Use maximum speed" and I changed it to 8x
speed.

I am planning on downloading the recommended Infra Recorder to do
the second burn.
