Can one use True Type Fonts in Linux? If so, do they need to be converted? Howis this done? How would one install them so they are available to all programsthat use fonts such as GUI apps (Open Office, etc.)
I just put them in the .fonts folder under /home.
You have to log out and log back in to see them available though.
If you have a windows install that is mounted in linux I just sym-linkthe windows fonts directory to the global fonts in linux.
