SET THE ENVIRONMENT VARIABLE JAVA_HOME to directory

i hav downloaded APACHE GROUP/TOMCAT4.1


I NEED TO SET THE ENVIRONMENT VARIABLE JAVA_HOME to directory in
which java Software development Kit is installed.


My default directory is c:\j2sdk2.0.

so that i can start tomcat by startup.bat


I WILL TROUBLE U AGAIN IF NEEDED.

i did sme modifications to my Autoexec.bat file (by running msconfig) to set
the

path=c:\jdk\bin and to
set JAVA_HOME & CATALINA_HOME variables....

after tht i restarted my comp n was able to run tomcat  server (from the start
menu, not from tomcat\bin\startup.bat)....

try it out, may work 4 u 2...
