Role Based Security

Anyone seen any good articles on how to implement role based security? I need to build security levels for admin, registered users, and regular visitors. I have been able to implement security at seperate folder levels - I just need to control access using roles assigned through SQL.

Have a look at the ibuyspy sample (www.ibuyspy.com) which implements SQL
Server based  roles authentication pretty well!
