Problem with the Multimedia

I have problem with the multimedia when i am using the Beryl and ubuntu edgy
,what happens is that when i try to move the player i get a blue back ground i
have this problem with totem movie layer and with vlc i cannot see any thing i
can only hear the voice but with mplayer i can open the file but i cannot acces
the full screen .
I have installed all the codecs...w32 codecs.
Any suggestion how to get rid of the blue background or make the vlc work...One
more thing change the vlc video out put screeen i have already tried that ou
changed it to all the possible out puts such as X11 but no improved any help
will be appreciated

I'm assuming you're using Beryl with Xgl. It's a common problem which hadn't
been totally fixed yet. There is a solution for VLC media player. Read these
posts:

What I would recommend is stop using Xgl, at least for now. Edgy already comes
with AIGLX preinstalled with xorg-xserver. Beta drivers that support AIGLX are
available for download in case you have ATI or nVidia.
