Printer installed

We just tried to install our HP Officejet 6210 printer and it would not install.
Does anyone have any idea on how to install it?

Look for HP in the Ubuntu Software Centre and you'll find the HP Tools
driver that should get the printer working for you. HP is one of the
better supported printers in Ubuntu so would be surprised if it won't
work :-)

Also - it's a good idea to state which version of Ubuntu is being
used.

With the printer attached and turned on, run Printers or Printing (depending on
what version of Ubuntu you use) select Add or +, local or network, wait a few
seconds, click on the printer, select OK or Continue until the printer is
installed.

This approach has worked every time for me over the past three years, while
testing well over a dozen distros/versions of Linux.

People can provide much better help if you say, "I did A and B and C and
expected result X, but this other thing happened instead."
