Which password prompt are you getting ? Is it on first log-in or is it
when the screensaver kicks in ?

It is when the screensaver kicks in. I don't mind the bootup one.

There is a checkbox in the area where you configure the screensavers that
lets you choose whether to require a password or not.

In the top right corner on the panel where you would log out go to system
settings. This should also be on the launcher (left) near the bottom. Go to
screensaver and make sure Lock is not checked.
