mac and pc compatibility

Asked By: Cody    Date: Nov 04    Category: MS Office    Views: 527

I created this spreadsheet with lots of userforms and macros and
programming (thanks in part to what I learned here, thank you very
much) and I sent it from my pc to my friend who has a mac. He
downloaded the spreadsheet, wasn't asked whether or not to enable
macros, and was unable to run anything. When he clicks on command
buttons nothing happens. Very sad. Any ideas? (I have Excel 2003; he
has Excel 10.1.5. and I guess they're just not compatible, but maybe
someone here really knows.)

Can't answer the mac  compatibility question, but get him to check that he
doesn't have macros  suppressed completely.

If you don't get anyone with a Mac answering this in the next day or so,
I'll send a message to my son, who has both Mac and PC.

He's not the most adept computer user but it appears that he has not
suppressed macros  completely. If your son is an anal retentive
golfer, I've got just the program for him.
