JMS vs RMI

Does anyone have a list (or comments) comparing JMS and RMI as a
method for delivering/receiving event driven messages? Anything
specific to J2EE is welcome. Also, how does it effect the decision
to use one over the other if one end is J2EE and the other is not
(J2SE for example).
