Java install Error 1324

I am having a problem trying to install Java 1_4_2_03(EN US). I am
running Windows XP-Pro with a 60 gig hard drive. I can't get it to
install from the java web site or by doing a manual install I tried
both and recieved the same error message I checked my path and there
aren't any illegal characters in it. Anyone else have this problem
and if so what's the solution?
