J2EE.. where to start.. ?

Asked By: Erica    Date: Oct 07    Category: Java    Views: 529

I am a core java programmer, but not atnall familiar with the J2EE
technolgies, EJBs, SOAP, WSDL..

Every-time I start reading about these technologies, I get overwhelmed
by all the different technologies out there, and all the different
books and explanations. I want to learn J2EE and preferably write my
own applications.

Can someone suggest me some books, resources where I can begin, go
step by step to learning this.

Start using the tutorial from Sun Microsystems
http://java.sun.com/j2ee/1.4/docs/tutorial/doc/
This is the best start  up resource for j2ee  1.4

Also you can read a few articles or view a few movies from www.theserverside.com
