I'm afraid Ican't help ou with the webservice as I haven't actually implemeted one ! (even though I know what they are, etc .... I know, I know, I know, I know .... I can't find an excuse to make one at the moment. But it's basically an extension of the old asp remote scripting - which, ironically, needed a java applet to work !).

As for the embedded control I'll do something right now to explain and post a link, okies.
