I loaded Ubuntu! Hardy on my old spare laptop, to see if I could make
things work. My problem is I can't get the phone to work with Ubuntu!.
No driver is listed for linux at motorola's website and I haven't
found any drivers for it.
Can anyone help me with this problem, I am new to linux and am tired
of learning a new OS every time microsoft changes interface trying to
entice the public to upgrade with eye candy. Only reason that is a
problem is I upgrade computers, and the new system is the only one
being packaged.
It is time for me to try to learn Linux. What makes this so hard is
everyone assumes you are Geek if you want to learn Linux. I am not,
just fed up with windows marketing.
Sorry about the rant.
once again:
I need instruction on how to use my motorola phone as the tethered
modem that it was designed to be. I have found a file to make a
windows driver. Not needed as one was supplied with the connection
kit. I have found nothing for Linux.
