I have some good experiences with JBoss and it;s Middlewares (JEMS) on Large-Scale Projects like Maskan Bank and Seda va simaye iran and mokhaberat iran and DP co and Refah Bank. and Now Mobicentsthat is SIP Server(VoIP) that is integrated with JBoss for our comfort.
Personal experience, I have been nailed by the cache component a couple of times. Lots of synchronization problems and not a solution for high transactional applications. A big no-no for at least version 1.4.
