Anyone read this article about ubuntu and windows?
The reason I like this is because we are now getting down to some facts:
the costs of running windows; the costs of being ON windows; the time it
takes to keep windows running.

NA It worked fine for me, after I got around the popups it was a good
read.

Funny thing. Some one said there was MS Server ads on the page and now
you say there is pop-ups .... and I didnt see any of that.

Yeah, I'd say the pop-ups are sabotaging the better part of an
excellent article comparing Ubuntu and Windoze. Don't think the link
was broken per se, but definitely something is going haywire with the
pop-ups on my side.

I basically share the same sentiments the author has with Ubuntu, the
only thing that keeps me in Windoze are a few software programs which
I haven't seen in Linux yet, such as a decent language translation
program (not web-based).

As long as I can keep burning backup CDs of Win98 2nd ed., I probably
will have a Windoze box lying around somewhere. Anything past that
version of Windoze is a reinvention of a wobbly wheel at best.

Ubuntu is here to stay, no question in my mind about that.

The link did not work early and was server error.
