AptOnCD in Maverick

Is anybody else using AptOnCD in Maverick (10.10)? I'm having a problem with
the "Restore" function.

After clicking "Restore", and the "Load", I should see a file selection window.
Instead, I get nothing. When I start AptOnCD from a terminal window, I see the
following traceback after clicking "Load":

Traceback (most recent call last):

dbus.exceptions.DBusException: org.freedesktop.DBus.Error.ServiceUnknown: The
name org.freedesktop.Hal was not provided by any .service files

AptonCD does not error exit. This is repeatable. I have already tried
uninstalling / reinstalling AptOnCD, and dpkg reconfigure for Python, with no
change in behavior.

Thoughts and suggestions?
