Configuring Linux for Belkin USB Print Server--RESOLVED (CORRECTION)

Ubuntu Linux 6.10 (Edgy Eft)
Belkin 2-Port USB Print Server (F1UP0301)
HP Deskjet 6122 (driver previously installed and working with direct
USB connection)

From the Ubuntu menu bar click on "System", then "Administration",
then "Printing". In the "Printers" box right-click the printer
desired and then click on "Properties" from the menu that shows up
after several seconds. Select the "Connection" tab, select the
"Network Printer" option and select "HP Jet Direct". In the boxes
that appear put the Print Server IP address (e. g., 192.168.2.5) in
the "Host" box and "9100" or "9101" in the Port box (depending whether
it is printer 1 or printer 2 that you want). Click "Close" on all
just opened boxes and you should be ready to go.

This is my adaptation of information contained in chapter "VI. CUPS
Connections" of _Tutorial on CUPS and Foomatic_ from the
Linux-Kongress 2002, Cologne/Germany. Today it is available at,
www.linuxprinting.org/.../.
