My first intro to JDBC programming was via
http://pdf.coreservlets.com/, a free online PDF book. Not the
greatest JDBC coverage, but it was good enough to learn from. Now as
for installing it and getting it to work, that was another headache,
pouring over and over the Tomcat docs.
