How to add several conditions for formula "SUMIF"

Asked By: Klarissa    Date: Jan 02    Category: MS Office    Views: 988

I want to sum the elements of one column under the two conditions.
The first and the second column contain different informations.
If the info is found in the the first column and if the other info
is found in the second column, then we add the elements located in
the third column, else, we continuous at the next line.

I've tried the formulas "sumif" but it does make only with one
condition.

Has anyone found the solution?

What are the conditions?

=SUMPRODUCT(--(A1:A5>5),--(B1:B5<6),C1:C5)
in cell c6. In this case it totals the cells in C1:C5 as long as the
corresponding cell in columns A and B meet the folowing conditions:
The value in column  A should be greater than 5
The value in column B should be less than 6
