I was hoping someone has had this problem. I have a Compaq SR1703WM
Desktop with Ubuntu 8.04 installed. It also had an ATI Radeon Xpress
200 graphics card with the driver installed. Everything works fine.
The only problem is with this game After installing it and clicking on
its Icon, the screen goes black for a second and then the desktop
image returns like nothing happened. With the other applications ie
Tux paint and the like the screen also goes blank but then the program
starts and runs. Does any have any ideas as th this behavior. I've
tried removing the program and then reinstalling it with the same
result, no go. If I disable the video driver it will work, but then
the back ground on the game is not stable. I also run it at a
14400x900 resolution. Has anyone had a simalar problem and if so can
it be resolved. Just a note I run this on a Presario 6000 machine and
it runs fine. This is my granddaughters machine.
