I created this with the macro recorder...

ActiveWorkbook.SaveAs Filename:= _
"C:\Documents and Settings\Me\Mijn documenten\Book1.csv",

xlCSVMSDOS, CreateBackup:=False

This does alter the name of the current worksheet though to dodad.csv so
you may want to save it as an ordinary excel file  to "convert" it back. I
was able to read the csv file in notebook after I'd released it from Excel.

Not tried it in a procedure though so let us know if it breaks and we'll
have another look.
