I'm running the latest Ubuntu 64bit version in 3GB of ram. Yet the display ofvideo content is intermittent sometimes (like now) and I cannot get youtube.comvideo for example! Why?

How does one "enable" their codecs?..........
Search for "restricted" in Synaptic and you will find them. You mayalso find www.medibuntu.com helpful.

Youtube requires flash. A lot of videos also require the installation ofother codecs. For instance ubuntu-restricted-extras or kubuntu or xubuntu,depending on your flavour.
